autotools-idl
autotools-idl are a patch for
automake and some autoconf macros which add support for IDL and C++
ORBs. They try to provide full support for compiling IDL files to
C++
stubs and skeletons. The autoconf macros provide an unified
detection
of different C++ ORBs.
The two parts of autotools-idl are called automake-idl
and
autoconf-orb, respectively.
autotools-idl work with:
- Operating systems: GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, NetBSD,
OpenBSD,
Darwin (MacOS X),
CygWin (MS Windows)
- ORBs: omniORB, TAO, MICO, orbitcpp, ORBacus, VisiBroker,
Tuxedo,
Orbix
- GNU make, BSD make, Solaris make
- C++ compilers: GCC, Intel C++ compiler, Sun C++ compiler
autotools-idl may be distributed under the terms of the GPL, with the
usual automake
and
autoconf
exceptions.
